The building was built and completed in 1972. Consecrated on the 8th of December 1972 by Archbishop Michel Olçomendy, M.E.P., the parish was elevated to church on the 11th of January 1976. Throughout the years, the church and surrounding area has seen many renovation and improvements to cater to the growing need of the community.
